Icon Commerce Innovation Lab
The Icon Commerce Innovation Lab is a business incubator program designed to support growing, locally owned businesses in the Greater Cincinnati region through access to game-changing ecommerce platforms, technology, and strategies that reflect the future of commerce. Selected candidates receive complimentary marketing innovations (a combination of agency and technology services) that would normally be cost-prohibitive to an early-stage brand.
The program will run through the end of 2022, culminating in the end-of-year holiday sales season when most consumer brands and retailers experience a spike in sales.

In selecting the program’s inaugural class, we focused not only on a business’ untapped growth potential, but also on its ability to leave a meaningful impact on our local community. With that in mind, we selected these minority-owned and sustainable startups:
CinSoy Foods
A Black-co-founded CPG startup disrupting the soy sauce market with locally sourced and regenerative farming components.
MetroMono
A veteran-owned 3D print manufacturer based in Covington, KY, bringing stylish design to everyday life.
District78
A Black- and woman-owned retail brand handcrafting candles that support wellness, lifestyle, and gifting needs.
What Comes
Next
As these small businesses grow, our findings will help inform and inspire other brands to join us in the future of commerce. It’s our intention that the Icon Commerce Innovation Lab will be an annual commerce accelerator, creating a cycle of innovation and growth for small brands and retailers during the most important time of their year.
