The Associate Project Manager, Resourcing will partner with project management leads and the account service team to ensure that deliverables make it to the client on time and within budget. Specific  focus is on resource management for low complexity, quick turn projects. This is an internal role with no direct client engagement but may have vendor or partner agency interaction. As the APM grows in their understanding of agency and management process, they will take on additional project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource and project management for low complexity, quick turn projects
  • Learn and work within the Advantage project management system
  • Learn and practice estimation and budget management
  • Learn and practice proactive problem solving
  • Review project deliverables and assign resources based on best fit for each project
  • Monitor capacity for resources
  • Identify and resolve timing, capacity or other issues as needed
  • Work with project management director to forecast freelancer needs
  • Monitor daily project/task progress
  • Assist and learn from project manager leads, including:
  • Developing and managing timelines
  • Setting up project schedules and managing completion of tasks
  • Inputting estimates into our project management system
  • Tracking budgets
  • Pulling and analyzing QvA (quote vs. actual)
  • Communicating with the resource manager to determine appropriate resources
  • Motivate people involved in the project to complete tasks on time and within budget
  • Manage low complexity projects with oversight

Requirements:

  • BA in marketing or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role or comparable project management experience
  • Experience with marketing, ecommerce and retail preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
